Chapel Hill offers a lot of choice in types of places to live. Townhomes, green homes, luxury homes, and traditional family homes are easy to find. Lots of places in Chapel Hill and Carrboro are next to public transportation – or within walking distance of the places you need to go. There are also plenty of opportunities to rent – or invest in rental property near the University.

Because of the variety of folks who live in Chapel Hill, it’s easy to find someone that you can call your friend – someone to go jogging with, for your kids to have playdates with, or simply have a chat on the sidewalk.
