April Events in Chapel Hill – Today We’re…

…Going Outside And Enjoying the Weather!

Aren’t you glad it’s finally Spring?! Around Chapel Hill, it’s been a long and cold winter. The sight of the flowers and animals –and the sun – makes me want to get out of the house and play. Right now I’m looking out of my window, and I see dogwoods and redbuds, hellbore and pachysandra, periwinkle and daffodils. Even the azaleas have started to bloom.

Today we were talking about how great it is to live in Chapel Hill where there are so many fun things to do – places to go, things to see, and (my favorite) food to eat! So we decided that it would be a cool thing for me to blog about all – or at least some – of my favorites. So each day this month, I’ll be posting something I recommend for you to do to enjoy the wonderful community we have here in Chapel Hill. Look for my posts on my blog, or on my Facebook Fan page, and let’s enjoy the beginning of Spring together.

For today, I simply recommend that you get outside and soak up a bit of Vitamin D! It’s a beautiful day, and you need the fresh air.
